The Provincial Government of Zamora launches the Second International Congress SILVER ECONOMY: Active and Healthy Aging, to be held on the 26th and 27th of November 2020 in the multipurpose rooms of the Ramos Carrion Theater in Zamora. This scientific meeting forum responds to the resounding success of the various Silver Economy Sessions that we organized in previous years. It is time to take another step, society demands it.
Through this Second International Congress on Undertaking in the field of the Silver Economy, we will try to create a first-level scientific meeting space that responds to the new challenges of current aging and promote the knowledge of professionals on controversial and current issues as well as enhancing tools and methodologies of great impact and value-added models when addressing more economical, sustainable and operational models of care.
The program for this second International Congress is ambitious and comprehensive. It includes both clinical sessions and various discussion tables: Active policies in the field of active and healthy aging, therapies and clinical approach, reflections on the person-centered care model, safety in our elderly, etc ... In addition, and in In view of the success achieved last year, several meeting points will be set up where companies in the SILVER sector will exhibit their products, as well as enhance their own job listings through interviews with workers and professionals in the sector.
The Congress takes on a clear international dimension, being the first Silver Economy Congress held in Spain looking at other initiatives such as "Silver Economy Europe", "Silver Normandie", etc ... In this sense, this meeting space will be used so that other initiatives from the North of Portugal, with very common aims and objectives, are integrated into the Zamora Network of companies and services for dependent care (REZ SAP) in which a good part of the centers and retirement homes of the province are integrated, thus contributing to articulate a Silver frontier space.
